Here is another cup (but this one is for tea!) on a little mini-easel. This one will be delivered to Lexie Krell, the marvelous reporter who interviewed me for the Daily. In case you missed it, here is the article again.
This, of course, is the same size easel and canvas that is available for custom order in my Etsy Store.
Here's where you can buy mugs and bags and other amazing things!
About this Blog
One fateful day, my fiancee and I strolled into a bookstore art supply section. While looking at the canvases on sale, we both pondered the empty walls of our new apartment and saw a link from one to the other. A smattering of bottom-shelf acrylic paints and we set off. After a couple postcard-sized doodlings, I decided this was something I could really get into.
On August 1st, 2008 I set forth on this epic endeavor to paint a painting a day for a year. I thought that this blog would serve as both a personal motivator for my fledgling art and an inspirational example for others looking to flex their creative muscle.
I'm a Seattleite and a student at the University of Washington studying entrepreneurship. I am currently putting together a group of students with the intent to start a student-run venture capital fund branch called Husky Ventures.
